Seleno Health ceremonial Criollo cacao drops are from our Amaru cacao. They have an incredible ratio of 29:1 - theobromine:caffeine meaning they give you long-lasting sustained energy without the crash. Perfect for the uplifting, heart opening effects without the negative side-effects of caffeine over-stimulation.
Made only from the virgin crop, meaning the first crop of the tree and hand-selected pods. Seleno Health ceremonial cacao is a fermented and full bean, generated from milling the whole bean into a creamy, rich paste following ancient traditions. It contains all the antioxidants and bioactive of the whole bean, with beautiful rich aromatic oils to make a therapeutic, creamy elixir once mixed into hot water. Tested and shown to contain the highest levels of theobromine (uplifting), ethanolamides (bliss), tryptophan (joy), tryptamine (euphoria), phenylethylamine (satisfaction), polyphenols (clarity), magnesium (stress), zinc (immune) and other essential minerals. Seleno Health provide the highest quality, pure ceremonial cacao so you can feel the love too! We personally source our beans from Peru (see their farm here) to find the most potent, therapeutic & flavor-rich cacao possible.
Every batch is tested and shown to be safe from heavy metals and cadmium. We go beyond fair trade and work exclusively with one family farm that uses sustainable natural agroforestry practices (see here). Our cacao is artisanally grown, fermented and dried (<50 deg), while maintaining neutral acidity to provide the best aroma and taste.
Suggested use: Add 6-8 drops (25-30g) to hot water or hot plant-based milk with or without spices (examples - cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, cayenne) and sweetener (coconut sugar, raw sugar, honey) and blend or whisk until creamy.

Our Ordering Process
We process bulk orders once a month, with the possibility of extending to fortnightly. Since we operate from two different locations —Gold Coast and Sydney— it's tricky to maintain stock in both places. Bulk ordering means no wastage from expiring goods and allows us to keep our prices lower than other retailers.
The Order Timeline
We will open our cart on the first Monday of the month. You'll then have approximately two weeks to pick and choose your items. Fill and check your pantry, cleaning supplies, and vitamin supplements. Before the timer hits zero, finalize your order.
After the two weeks, we will close orders for another two weeks. During this "closed" period, we will be busy processing, delivering, and shipping orders. Meanwhile, you can start your shopping list at home, getting ready for the next open order. Think about what you will need and check our website to see if we have your desired items. If not, be sure to send us a message at the bottom of our page.
- Order Processing: Once the timer hits zero, we’ll process all orders, which takes about 24 hours.
- Shipping: Delivery and shipping can take between 5-14 days. If you choose shipping it will also depend on the carrier. If you opt for pickup, your wait time will be shorter.
- Pickup/Delivery: We offer free pickup, which will reduce your waiting time for the goods. Pickup locations: Helensvale, Gold Coast and Maroota, Sydney. We also offer delivery for a small fee. Delivery in the Gold Coast area ranges from $0-$25, depending on the distance. In Sydney, we have a flat rate of $5 for the Maroota to Dural areas. For other areas, we will ship your goods for $15.00.
We understand it might seem like a long time, but it's only for the first order before we get into a routine of monthly ordering. This system helps you budget, keep everything stocked up, and reduce spending at big corporations.
