Tallow is pure organic beef suet fat, sourced from the fat around the kidneys. We make pure tallow that is does not have fat from any other region of the cow. Beware other manufacturers claiming to have made tallow whilst only using cheaper beef fat cuts or broth fat. Pure tallow is made from suet only.
It has a rich flavour similar to lard and is loaded with vitamin E. Tallow can be used to treat a leaky gut and relieve joint pain.
Broth of Life tallow is 100% organic, grass fed, paleo and GAPS friendly.
Made from start-to-finish grass raised cows, we take pride in delivering you the highest in ethical and nutritional standards. This is evident by the rich golden colour and aroma which only comes from grass fed suet.
Tallow can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 years without going rancid pending light and air exposure. If refrigerated, beef tallow can keep for up to 2 years, and it can remain in good condition indefinitely when stored in the freezer.

Our Ordering Rhythm
We now operate in a 10-day open, 4-day closed cycle. That means:

Our online store is open for 10 days at a time.

After that, the cart closes for 4 days so we can process, pack, and ship all the orders.

Then it all starts again - open for 10, closed for 4.
This new rhythm helps us:

Offer bulk pricing and keep costs low
The Timer
You’ll notice a timer on our website—this shows exactly how long is left before the cart closes.
Once the timer hits zero:

No more new orders can be placed.

We begin processing all the current orders (usually takes 24 hours).
